Another of the narrow streets which lead into the market place Church Street also gives access to the church. The obvious tree is in the churchyard and next to the churchyard entrance.

A little alley by the churchyard runs into the market Square with the churchyard on the left. There are some interesting ancient buildings, on the right, with mullioned windows.

This stone tablet commemorating the Battle of Stow, made from local Cotswolds stone, can be seen in the churchyard. The Battle of Stow was the last battle fought in the civil war in 1646.
