Tryfan and the Glyders, Caernarfonshire, Wales

×
Tryfan (3010 feet).
Tryfan is the obvious, isolated, ridge shaped peak near the centre of the picture with the Glyders (3250 feet) beyond.
The road seen at the foot of the ridge is the A5.

The Nant Francon valley.
This view from the Glyders shows the typical U-shaped glacial valley looking North.
The A5 road can be seen on the right heading towards Bethesda and the Afon (River) Ogwen meandering along the centre of the valley floor.
