Bodnant Gardens, Denbighshire, Wales

Bodnant Garden, covering 80 acres, is very popular and has the longest Laburnham arch in the U.K. We were there in late May which was just about the right time to see the Laburnham Arch, Rhododendrons and Azaleas in flower. The displays of colour in virtually all parts of the garden were nothing short of astonishing.

Bodnant Gardens are on a slope with the entrance at the top and the slope can be divided into areas. There is the area around the entrance, the area near the house, the Canal Terrace area, the Old Mill area and, finally, the area at the Far End. The house is not open to the public.
All the areas have their features and they are all beautiful.
