I've been viewing your photo's of the Derbyshire Peak District and enjoying them very much. I was in the area a few years ago and enjoyed my time there. But I never knew there was a henge there and I am keenley interested in henges. I have visited Stonehenge, Avebury and West Kennet Long Barrow. I plan to visit a few more on my next visit to Britain, sometime in the future. I was wondering if you would be visiting other henges or sites of that nature during your travels. You have an excellent web page, very informative, with great photo's. I plan to use your site for future reference on my next visit to Britain.
Kind Regards

There are a few more stone circles in Derbyshire of which The Nine Ladies stone circle on Stanton Moor is but one. There are, as you probably know, many others scattered about Britain. There is one well known one in the Cotswolds and one in the Lake District for example.

We do visit henges if there is one near wherever we may be staying at the time. We saw a small one in North Wales which I photographed but it doesn't photograph well and I haven't included it on the site.
