What a wonderful city! Among many other gorgous buildings - the prettiest shoe shop we ever saw..with vaulted ceiling and ....very pretty and friendly staff..far from ancient :-) Ruth from Germany

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR THIS WONDERFUL WEBPAGE. I HAVE THIS NOW IN MY FAVOURITES FILE AND VISIT IT AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK. THE PICTURES ARE BEAUTIFUL! My husband and I were born and raised in Chester and so were our three children. We all moved here in 1975. I get extremely homesick even now after 34 years of living here. I still class Chester as home. What were we thinking when we moved here? Oh how I miss all the history. One never appreciates anything until you no longer have it. Thank you once again.
