I was in the RAF based at the old Goldsborough/east barnby camp accross Lyth / Runswick bay road, in 1961/63, We travelled to Fylingdales moor to carry out bomb disposal work daily.and was there in bad winter of 1962, I used to go to the Fox public house at weekends and go down to the beach at kettleness, What a wonderful posting, My wife and I visit twice a year and look in the old place, I have a photograph of the radar mast that was taken down in the 60s and one of myself on Kettleness beach.
