It brought back fond memories as over twenty years ago I use to work in stebbing, attend St Mary the Virgin Church, played the guitar in the music group and was married in the church . It was the only church I felt very comfortable in .

I have traced my Ancestors on my Fathers side back to Stebbing Essex. Some names I have come across are Robert Portway b1550 stebbing and John Portway b Stebbing- Do Yopu know of anyone who Might have Records[Parish] or similar reseach interests Kind Regards, Gordon Portway

My Uncle and Auntie lived in the cottage " Rose cottage " about 1977 onwards cannot remember when they sold it lovely place
