Rhossili lies in the first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty declared in the United Kingdom on the southwestern tip of the Gower Peninsula near Swansea in Wales. Rhossili Bay curves along an arc for nearly 3 miles running northwards from the village and is backed with sand dunes. Some locals refer to the beach as Llangennith Sands.

On top of the cliffs looking towards Worms Head (the bit poking up at the far end).
There is an easy walk from the National Trust Car Park along the top of the cliffs to the Coastguard Lookout Station overlooking Worms Head.

In the area of the Lookout Station there are good views to be had of Worms Head (the island) and it is an easy scramble down to the beach as the cliffs are much lower here.

There are plenty of wild flowers around as you can see in this Wildflower Meadow. These are mostly Ox-eye Daisies with other species, such as Red Clover, mixed in.
