Eardisland, The Black and White Villages, Herefordshire, England
This is an interesting building with a mix of architectures; a Georgian extension on a much older timber-framed house.

The Dovecote is one of Eardisland's most distinctive historical buildings. Its origins are probably late 17th or early 18th century, although the earliest reference to a dovecote in the village is 1469. The present building was formerly part of the Manor House estate and now functions as an information and exhibition centre. Entry is free.

Entry to the Dovecote is free and, once inside, you can see over 900 little alcoves with a ledge at the bottom of each where the doves would have built their nests.

This rather pretty stretch of the mill stream, which is an offshoot of the River Arrow, is near the Dovecote.
