

The Waterworks Museum (3), Hereford, Herefordshire, England

Tangye House, built in the late 19th century, is the original pumping station from Leominster. It was due to be demolished in 1990 but was rescued by the Hereford Waterworks Museum and moved here.
The building is now home to the 97 litre Tangye horizontal diesel engine and other displays.

This massive Blackstone Diesel Engine, manufactured in 1939, was saved from the Royal Ordnance Munitions Factory at Rotherwas, Hereford. It drives a centrifugal pump shown in the next picture.
