The County of Lincolnshire
Lincolnshire is one of Britain's largest counties and is bounded on its eastern border by the North Sea. The City of Lincoln, with its magnificent cathedral, is the county town and to the north-east of Lincoln are the Lincolnshire Wolds - a group of rolling chalk hills. Steeped in history the county is liberally sprinkled with market towns, picturesque villages and stately homes.
