There are also cacti and succulents here and lots of them in a separate Arid Gallery. Short fat ones to tall thin ones. Amanda thought that this was a better display than we've seen at Kew Gardens.

This orchid was also in with the cacti. We would like to return here in the Spring as the cacti should also be in flower then.

There are neck straining cacti here and some of them are very tall indeed. What do you do, I wonder, if something like this ever reaches the roof? It doesn't look as though it has far to go.

This picture gives a good idea of the scale of the conservatory with people on the high level walkway on the left and other visitors down below at floor level.
If you like exotic plants then this is a place that you should visit.
