A short walk north from Cabot Square brings you to this footbridge leading on to West India Quay. This view is from the elevated West India Quay DLR station and shows some of the old docklands cranes with the Museum of London Docklands on the right beyond the footbridge.
There are also numerous restaurants along the quay.

The Museum of London Docklands on West India Quay. This museum is quite large and spread over three floors with a large variety of exhibits covering London Docklands from Roman times up to the present day.
Archaeological evidence tells us, apparently, that by 500 AD after the Romans had gone home, London was practically deserted although nobody seems to know where everyone went. Curious.

A DLR train standing in West India Quay station and overlooked by what appear to be two Martian war machines but which are, in fact, two of the old dockside cranes.
