Walking along Oxford Street on the north side, east of James Street, is a very narrow opening which you could easily miss which is the start of Gees Court. This alley connects Oxford Street to St. Christopher's Place.
There are a number of high quality shops in this alley even before you get to St. Christopher's Place.

This is the small square where Gees Court joins St. Christopher's Place looking towards James Street. There are plenty of restaurants, some with alfresco dining, and many boutiques.

The pedestrianised St Christopher's Place is so unexpected, tucked behind Oxford Street, you'd never know it was there unless you'd been told. It's an oasis of calm after the madness of Oxford Street.
