The Presbytery and High Altar from the Quire. The present altar is smaller than the original medieval one which may have covered the whole of the area of the top step.

The Presbytery underwent major restoration and reconstruction in the 15th and 16th centuries including the painted camber-beam roof.

This shows the tower lantern roof which was restored in the 19th century although the windows below it are 14th century. There is a mirror installed on the floor of the Quire which enables visitors to see the ceiling without craning their necks.

The Quire is well known for its medieval carved misericords and although a few are Victorian replacements this shows a 15th century misericord featuring a Green Man.
