Severn Valley Railway, Bridgnorth, Shropshire, England

×
Bridgnorth.
Locomotive 42765 taking on water at Bridgnorth Station in preparation for a return trip to Kidderminster.
The interesting route closely follows the meandering course of the River Severn for most of the way. A highlight of the trip is the crossing of the river on the Victoria Bridge, a massive 200-foot single span, high above the water. There are few roads in the valley and some of the views are only visible from the railway.
