A wide expanse of beach near St. Peter's-on-the-wall, at low tide, with some barges aground at the edge of the water.

There were a lot of wild flowers on the grassland between the chapel and the shore including this Tufted Vetch (Vicia cracca), the blue flowers, and Greater Birdsfoot Trefoil (Lotus uliginosus), the yellow flowers.

In the same area as the above plants we also saw this Musk Mallow (Malva moschata).

This is near St. Peter's Chapel and shows a small stream running into the River Blackwater which is a mile wide at this point. This whole area, on a sunny day, had a delightful atmosphere - very few people and very peaceful.
