The northern end of High Street is really quite wide compared with the southern end and can easily accommodate grass verges and trees.

This is the lower part of the High Street where it divides to go round both sides of the Market Hall and the Town Hall. You'll be pleased to hear that the opposite arm, which carries most of the traffic, is marginally wider.

The 14th century house of William Grevel, built around 1380, near the northern end of High Street is the oldest building in Chipping Campden.
Just look at that wonderful bay window which goes from the ground floor to the first floor.

This view of the local countryside is on the eastern side of the town and shows typical Cotswolds countryside with the inevitable sheep.

A Thatched Cottage at the junction of Hoo Lane and Backends. A short way off to the right up Hoo Lane is the start of the Cotswold Way.
