Chipping Campden (6), Gloucestershire, England

Chipping Campden.
The Town Hall was originally a 14th century building but was re-built by the Victorians in the 19th century. I don't know if any of the original building remains.

This part of High Street is quite interesting with the rather wide kerb. This kerb is raised just above road level at the roadside but is considerably higher on the pavement side. There are gaps at regular intervals with steps down to pavement level.

This timber-framed building is in the divided part of High Street in the narrower side and it is unusual to see timber-framed buildings in an area with such a plentiful supply of stone. This is not the only timber-framed building in Chipping Campden.
