The Cathedral Quarter (3), Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England
×
The narrow cobbled lane from Greestone Terrace down to Lindum Road is certainly picturesque not to mention steep. The first picture is at the top and the second picture is looking up from the bottom. The third picture is The Strait which connects Steep Hill to High Street. You want narrow? Lincoln does narrow!
These are two more of the original gates of the cathedral precincts; The first picture is Potter Gate and Priory Gate is the second.
The first picture is Jews House, in The Strait, and is the oldest known town house in England dating from the mid 12th century and has been continuously occupied since. The second picture shows part of Temple gardens - a public park.
