South Dock, Docklands, London, England

A dockside walkway; the outside of which can be seen in the next picture to the right of the bridge. I rather liked the symmetry in this view.
There are few roads here so, generally, there is no obvious road traffic noise.

Looking back over the footbridge from South Quay to Heron Quays with the ever present Canary Wharf Tower seen between the gap at the back.

Peeping round the corner on the left at the back is One Canada Square (also known as Canary Wharf Tower or the Radden Tower - the highest habitable building in the U.K at 763 feet) together with the Citibank Tower in the centre seen from South Quay Square.

Walking to the eastern end of South Dock takes you to Prestons Road and thence to the entrance lock from the River Thames shown here with some of the old dockside cranes.
The tall buildings in the business centre of Docklands are obvious in the background.
