The Old Town, Eastbourne, Sussex
The 16th century Lamb Inn with 12th century St. Mary's Church beyond. The Lamb Inn still has a medieval stone vault under the current building.
This area no longer has an 'old town' feel as the road was widened and a number of historic buildings were demolished, with the consent of the town council, to make room for it. If feels more like a modern suburb with a sprinkling of old buildings.
