The view from Figsbury Ring looking south-west. You may be able to make out the dark vertical shape of the spire of Salisbury Cathedral near the centre of the picture and just below the horizon - better seen in the larger view.

The Adonis Blue butterfly is not a common sight but there is known to be a colony of them here on Figsbury Ring and we were lucky enough to see one.
