Stanage Edge, Derbyshire Peak District, England

Stanage Edge, Derbyshire Peak District.
The view from the top. A very easy walk to the top of the edge with no steep bits BUT you will need sturdy footwear because the path is covered in natural rubble in many places with stones the size of billiard balls. It could also be a bit mucky in wet weather.
You arrive at the top roughly half-way along the edge so that gives you approximately 2 miles to walk each way if you are so inclined. It's certainly worth it in good weather for the views.

This shows the path and some of the natural rubble. It would be very easy to twist an ankle without proper footwear. The path to the top of the edge is less than a mile in length.
