Streets and Alleys, Hastings, Sussex

Courthouse Street joins The Bourne and High Street and is but one of the many quaint and narrow streets in the Old Town.
You can see one of the many old jettied timber-framed building in this area and in the distance is East Hill and the funicular terminus.

This is Hill Street looking towards 14th century St. Clements Church and, yes, the road is as narrow as it looks. You may also notice that part of the pavement on the left is a bit higher than usual - one of the features of the Old Town.

All Saints Street which, like High Street, has high pavements and many ancient timber-framed buildings.
Near the top of this street is All Saints Church another medieval church serving the Old Town and from which the street gets it's name.

Near the corner of St. Clements churchyard at the top end of Swan Terrace is this twitten,Coburg Place, which, after a few twists and turns, brings you out on the open green of West Hill. There is a signpost at the start of the twitten pointing to the Castle and the Caves.
